watch. November, Erie will get blasted with rain and all the fish will get upstream in a hurry and spread out. Then, some will say not many fish came in -- **** overharvest!!!!

I was talking about the pics mgolf92 posted. I forgot my camera yesterday or I would have loved to shared some with you. Especially the one with two guys casting over top each other in about 3 inches of water at one steelhead. Their baits were hitting off each others boots if they would cast a couple inches too close to each other.

That is a shame. We saw the same thing back in "03 - they cut us to pieces...:)
I love that one shot from the stop sign hole - the dude with the orange hunting hat - are you kidding? That must be mandatory, whether it is 70 degrees out or not...:)

There was a year, it was either 1998 or 1999 that the fish didn't get up Elk Creek to Folley's until January. The water is even lower this year. At this point, based on the projected below average Precipation, I'd doubt that they make it up there at all.
Although the current conditions are less than favorable, Some particular leased property must really be hurtin. Isn't kinda interesting that a year after all that, Some of those properties have no fish?

Fished all day saturday. Did ok. Started at Walnut this morning, my buddy caught 1. We went to Elk... that place was a mad house. Tons of fish as always and tons of people. Lost count of how many people I saw snagging fish. Saw a female fish commission officer there just sitting in her jeep.

Wow makes me want to cancel my trip up there the last weekend of the month. I mean that would open up 2 spots.... I have only been up to erie 2 times ever and both times were around this weekend and it was never like that ever. It was not even half that many. I know everyone has the itch as do I but the 6.5 hr trek from Reading might not be worth it until November. How are the streams the weekend before the first day of buck season?

yeah we didn't even fish. Just didn't see the point. I'm not really into fishing (if that's what you'd call it at this point) next to someone that's an arms length away. Some people obviously don't mind though. I'll wait till theres been enough rain to spread the fish and people out till I go back up. Who know's when that will be.

That's absolutely pathetic.
It blows my mind that anyone would want to fish like that. That actually looks worse than the annual Maumee River walleye run in Ohio.
