Shouldn't it be a "swim" instead of a "run?" I've never even seen fish walk at a fast pace let alone run.

Come on up right now and fish. Enjoy the streams. The weather is great, the fishing is great, and you can have a wonderful day. I am not so sure you will "hammer" the steelies, but if you are true sportsman, it is about the experience, not the catch. Come and enjoy all that Erie county has to offer. I am sure you will have a great time.

Amen to Bughawks statement. If I could buy land, Erie is the place to be. All one would need is waders/rod and a boat for summer walleye/perch...that would be heaven. If I wasn't three hours out, I would be fishing today...no matter what the conditions are.

Thanks Stealys, I was recently up at Virgina's Campground for a week of camping at the end of July and did see a few places along Rt. 5. I am looking for/dreaming of a small cabin on an acre or two or even just land (1-2 acres) to put up a small cabin. End of October (22nd-28th) is my next scheduled visit, Uncle Johns. Going to look for local Realtor for help. Thanks.
