I thought the left was the party of tax and spend? Guess that has all changed. Largest tax hike in history and crashing the stock market. But hey, no response. Let’s change the subject?

Enjoy the next 4 years then the rest of your life of your grandkids never speaking to you. All because you want to show those libs. And can be even more blatantly racist? Is that what it is about? No one that I know that voted for Trump, voted for these massive tax hikes. They voted to hopefully lower inflation. Not balloon it and add a decade until they can retire. Suckers.

So your saying the grandkids are indoctrinated? Why yes they have been.

Cue the tiny fiddle music

If the industry that comes back to the US, causes a pair of shoes that costs $100 now to be $400, to pay the US worker a decent wage, who will be biching?
If they bring back manufacturing and the plants are 99% automated, who will be biching?
When a new truck that is already approaching $100k, is $300k, who will be biching? Don’t worry, Tesla will be by far the least expensive when things settle. Do you honestly think that this is going to revert the US to 1950, man of the house gets a factory job and pays for a family of 6-7? Would be great, but has no basis in reality.

If you want to be genuine in conversation, look up the “Uruguay Round”. It is a series of negotiations around the world that has set up global trade. Negotiations that Trump has skipped out on, in order to “fix” things and trying to force with tariffs. Going head first into a trade war. Look at history of what happened after the last major trade war. It was about the same time as a mustached Trump was gaining power in Germany.

I watched a lot of Trump during the elections. I made it a point to watch some televised rallies. Never did he speak of this “temporary pain” of handing down the largest taxes in US history. He denounced or “had no idea” of Project 2025. Any time some “Libtard” mentioned it on here, they were “fear mongering”. Yet this entire script is being followed. Why wasn’t he or his supporters just honest during the campaign, if his supporters knew this was the plan. Every Trump voter that I have spoken to in the past few weeks claims they didn’t have a clue this would be the process. Many still support him, but were in the dark of plan.

Or will it just be the Rights “MO” to change the subject and ignore what is going on? Cheer for whatever Trump does, because it is their team?

As I understand the budget cap its being held higher than they will try and spend as a buffer--just in case anything happens negatively=I say that knowing the TDS crowd will go nuts.
Kinda like they did when Biden was president and would have if Harris had won ---NOTTTTT
Remember its not really about whatever Trump does or doesnt do-- its about TRUMP for them.
Remember these are the ones who Looooved electric cars and whos people admired Musk--until he went with Trump--Now they burn his cars and hate his guts.

What do you think is going to happen here? Trump is gonna smack tariffs all over everything and somebody will wave a magic wand to get hundreds of billions of dollars worth of manufacturing up and running overnight?

It’s going to take years. On average, at least 3-5 years for most industries by some estimates. For some specialized products it will take longer, and for some we will never build sufficient domestic manufacturing capacity.

How much economic pain do you think this country will tolerate until then? The US had the best post covid economic recovery in the world, and it wasn’t good enough for a large percentage of the population. And that economic hardship was inevitable because it was due to a global pandemic. This tariff bullshiit is not.

You hardcore MAGA people may be willing to suffer and die for your orange Jesus Christ, but if you think that opinion is shared by a majority of people in this country, you are deeply mistaken.

A lot of swing voters broke for Trump because they wanted MORE buying power with their pocketbook, not less. This is the exact opposite of what a lot of voters were expecting and they wont be willing to wait years for things to get better, especially since there is no guarantee it will ever actually even happen.

ICE NUT
You Libs won't have to wait too long about 3.5 years so toughen up change your tampon or pad  before the tariffs price them out of reach!!.Buying power was probably the least thing on voters minds the past election.Me thinks the 18 million invaders that crossed illegally you know about the ones that your brain dead melon head said nothing could be done about. Oh yea eggs are down 57% and dropping wasn't that one of your big issues you libs whined about? It will go fast just 3.5 years then maybe VANCE for 8
