Good to hear it is holding up well. I just find it sort of funny that those “Japcrap” trucks are more American made than all (except that year Ranger). You don’t see all that many Rangers on the road, in comparison to the full sizes. Meanwhile, most don’t need anything more than a Ranger, heck Maverick for most. Their track record back in the 80s and 90s weren’t the best, which can be said of many American cars back then. Back when they were still doing the “planned obsolescence” thing. I think many of the car models are still doing it, putting far too much focus on the gadgets than reliability. Give me power windows, A/C and a backup camera, in a vehicle that will last 200k with routine maintenance. Butt warmer and Bluetooth connectivity is nice too…. But some of the other stuff is just another thing that will break and need to lift the dang engine on newer vehicles to get to.
