Fished pool 3 this morning, caught 8 walleye in front of the dam.

We went outta Shades yesterday. Ended up with 6 for the freezer. Mostly "skillet" size ( 16"to 18") with 1 hawg (24"). We threw back probably 8 or 10 just legal sizers (15" to 16") and I couldn't tell you how many dinkers. 55 to 58 FOW had the most marks. Size 1 dispeys with meat caught the most, but we did used some plugs for a bit.

That fish doesn't even look that fat.  Long and healthy, but imagine it could put on another few pounds...  Congrats to the ecstatic looking angler.

This caught my eye......I'm thinking PFBC just copy/paste prior year reports...as there is no way Woodcock Creek Lake is flush with fish after the whole draindown accident

Anglers are catching Smallmouth Bass, panfish, Walleye. Reminder all people on a boat less than 16 feet and all canoes and kayaks must always wear a wearable personal floatation device.

Maybe the Corps will try to completely drain Kinzua for their next feat of epicness!

hahah...oldie but a goodie....
But, I can personally attest to the awesome ice fishing and fall walleye fishing on Kinzua.
Biggest pike I ever laid eyes on came through the ice there.....and some dandy walleye...
Biggest walleye I ever saw though, was through the ice, on the Allegheny river.

Aside from Erie, it was my favorite bass tournament stop.
