I split what was on the ground this morning until my helper showed up. He did , thankfully , and we got 4 more loads. Time to hit the pool.

Fyi, pool party is set for independence day. I'll be hauling a ton of clams back from Rhode island and it's gonna be a rager

Sore is an understatement. My bones hurt but must push on. Today is lawn care and wood splitting day.
Nice and cool outside, even the pigs slept in their shelter last night.
Enjoy the day folks . Work , work , work here

Ok things are as best they can be for awhile.
I will be fishing pretty hard until July 4th from here on out, no more weekends at the house.
Delivered about a cord of cut & split wood this morning, for free, why me ..
Cut , split ,stacked another 2 cord here for me :).
Pulled camper out of hibernation and all good there. Did a little mowing, a little gardening and burned a bunch junk wood.

Geesh, I'm actually looking forward to going to work tomorrow and get paid ,,,, not !!
I need a retirement job

The cold nights have set back seed germination for me a little. If I was a week earlier I would be doing better. Stuff s sprouting up slowly but surely though.

I was in the Adks all weekend. Perfect weather. Water a tad low. 39 degrees this morning.
Things are drying out here. I put 30 gallons rain water on my garden.
I'm beat..

So much to be done.
Update. Been picking various lettuce, radish, spinach and herbs.
Garden is rocking but we are in a semi drought. My rain barrels are empty from watering.
Pigs are getting phat.
Without a breeze, so is their stink.

Have always kept bird feeders around the house- like to see the birds.
They attract bushytails and chipmunks  eating the dropped seeds.
Both became a big problem with a nearby strawberry patch- sooo- this year no feed in the feeders till later in the Summer.
Great berry crop coming in without the furbearers bothering them- both always got past the netting.
