Our mission at deer camp was a big success and definitely fun stuff.
We brought some upgrades to our cooking and storage. To be clear, there are no structures such as a cabin. Its camping at a cleared spot in the woods.
The shooting shack project is finished with the windows and braces done. We put out 7 trail cameras. 2 were new solar powered ( battery back up ) wifi. 2 were standard battery wifi and 3 are basic SD card.
I forgot to set the 3 more I have out.
Every camera but 1 took pictures the first night.
He's not a shooter but has potential with the thick beams.
Always nice knowing what's in the neighborhood.
Can't wait until we start seeing the ones we will actively target their movements.

The bridge in altmar to about 1/4 mile upstream is the lower fly zone and its closed until Sept. Reason is because it has cold water springs that Atlantic salmon will congregate.
The fly area past the hatchery is the upper fly zone which is open now but until August is no additional weight.

Ok, I was in the upper.

Well, I had some fun stuff over the weekend. All .my fished were released as I don't care for trout anymore as table fare.
Probably won't be fishing the SR anytime soon.

Looks like fun times.
