Plan to fish upwind. I didn’t notice the dead fish. I’m sure it was a pretty nasty kill though. Lake was stuffed with shad last year and long cold winter...

Mywar, I would stick to the rivers till then when fishable. Much cleaner with nice sand/gravel and flow plus the Small Mouth are a blast this time of year. Weather forecast is not looking for fishable rivers...

For the next 3 weeks I would recommend bringing these along. Especially if you plan on fishing the shallows or shore fishing.
