NASCAR Picks of the Week - 2024 - Charlotte - Roval

Gentlemen,
 
     This week is the final race in the round of 12.  The Roval at Charlotte!
      Now the Roval has presented many challenges over the years.  Like terrible passing zones, and even parts of the pavement coming up.  Add to that the fact that most teams just give the car enough gas to finish the race and a GWC can cause problems.  And let's not forget about the tires.
      Below I have listed the 12 drivers still in the play-offs and the number of points the have going into this race. You can do the math on the odds for your favorites.
 
      Here's Your Top 12:
 
1.  William Byron  +74 - Can be a Start and Park if he wants to.  Already has the points
2.  Christopher Bell  +57 -  Just needs to finish in the Top 25
3.  Kyle Larson  +52 -  Needs to be in the top 25
4.  Denny Hamlin  +30 - Needs a good run a Top 15
5.  Alex Bowman +26 - Needs a Top 10 and Help
6.  Ryan Blaney +25 -  Needs a Top 10 and Help
7.  Tyler Reddick  +14 -  Needs to pass 4 of the guys above him
8.  Chase Elliott +13 - Needs to pass 5 of the guys above him.
9.  Joey Logano -13 -  Needs a Top 8 finish, and Help
10.  Daniel Saurez -20  Needs a Top 5 finish
11.  Austin Cindric -29  Needs a Top 5 finish
12.  Chase Briscoe -32  Needs a Top 4 finish and Help

Wow. I can’t imagine how upset he must be. I feel bad for the guy. I wonder how his team could have let something like this happen.

      And Now there are 8.  This was a very good race.  Some very good driving was on display.
      We had 2 People pick the actual winner.  They were:  Bigfoot and Fishin' Coyote, picking: Kyle Larson.
      We had 3 people pick the best Long Shot.  They were:  Me, Wood Nickle, and Hendey Lathe.  All picking:  AJ Allmendinger.
       And we had 1 person come closest to picking the actual 1st Out.  That was Wood Nickle, picking:  John Hunter Nemechek.
