Urban voting always seems to have hours long lines. Then report that “the black vote is always low”…. Not sure if lack of volunteers or what it is. Those are always the areas that have the longest lines. If mine takes more than 10 minutes, I’m probably leaving. Especially with the options we have. Trump is among the biggest trash balls in America, but I’m just fine if he wins. I’m most rooting for whoever gets in, they don’t get a full Congress. That seems to be when both sides try to push through most far reaching agenda, knowing it won’t be possible with compromise. We need to fix a few key items with compromise. Hopefully that border bill is back on the table and not playing politics for the midterms…

All key issues should be on the ballot to vote on by the people. These scumbag politicians lie about everything. Tell you they are for something to get voted in and then do the opposite.

Call it off then. Count signs in rural PA for the winner. Only real way to determine this thing.

I arrived home about a half hour ago from a walk in a park about 5 minutes where I live. There is an arena on site that serves as a place to vote. Parking lot packed and more people still showing up. Not many vehicles leaving. Unless things move quickly along I can’t see how all those people will be able to cast their ballot by the 8 pm deadline.

How did the person who invented the first clock know what time it was?

I was in and out in 5 minutes. Never a long line at the polling station where I have voted for the last 15 years. It’s in the city. Might be a longer wait if I go early in the day but I’ve never had to wait.

I think as long as you are in line by closing time, you can still vote, however long that takes.

All about timing hitting the polls. All my coworkers that tried to go before work when polls opened (all surrounding counties in SW PA), had over an hour wait. I left work early and got to my place at 245 pm and walked right in. Talked with my neighbor volunteering and I was number 648 of the day, of a possible 1,007 and he said it was way ahead of and busier than the previous presidential elections. Turnout should be pretty good.

Last Thursday it took me about 5 minutes, in and out. Saturday after drinking a few (1-2 too many), took me almost 20 minutes. “Can’t we just finish in the morning”??? I tried again in the morning hoping she forgot, no go. Going to try again tonight.

PA sure seems to be having a lot of irregular things happening lately.
One might ask if machines are down in Red counties as the improper ballot issues happen in blue places,,
Just asking----

looked it up- machines down in RED counties.

Gettin' almost as bad as Arizonas' problems in '18, '20, and '22. Haven't heard anything about Az yet.

i went in, no line, signed the book by my name, carefully filled out both sides of the ballot, (making sure of no unmarked spaces inside the circles: didn't want any hanging chads), stuck my ballot in the machine, got my sticker and left. Strangely, on the way out, now there was a line way out the door. They must've come out of the woodwork.

Well the fat lady just sang. Millions of people are going to think it’s the sweetest song they ever heard.
On the other hand, millions of other people will think she sounded worse than a frog croaking in a bucket. The people have spoken. Let’s try and put our differences aside and work together to live in peace and harmony with one another.

This was photo shopped. Same image two years ago, but black pants suit. Taken from Joe’s funeral.

Bruh, you might wanna take some time to do real research, read journo's work on sub stacks, podcasts, data driven op-eds on websites, instead of relying everything from the partisan pundits for mainstream media. Please take time to study the turnout of blacks, Hispanics/Latino for Trump

Re: Trump 2024 2024/11/06 09:04:39 (permalink)
To me, this came down to a few things. With the top one being overwhelming.

Inflation. Harris did absolutely nothing to dispel that her and the corpse caused it. No doubt that some of their policies expanded it, but so did Trump’s. They just sat back and did nothing, focusing on other issues. Maybe the economists that I had read reports from were Dem party hacks, but all said 90% of inflation was from the pandemic and aftermath of supply not keeping up with a shifting demand. No doubt, they could have done better in helping slow it. Why not explain to the American people why they did certain things and if it added to inflation, what offsetting good did it do? Their silence to me, seems to indicate that it didn’t do much offsetting good.

The corpse thinking he could be wheeled out in public for another run and the Dem base supporting it. Just like the Trump cult, the Dem base are like robots programmed to accept, then fight for whatever they are told. Harris being inserted without a primary, I am sure lost many Independent voters. The whole process put actual enthusiasm for her and Dems very low among casual voters. I assume the overwhelming votes she had were votes against Trump and not for her. Dem party needs to completely adjust. The woke culture and idea that government needs to fix everything is being told, no thanks. Possibly even by popular vote.

Trump is a complete scumbag. Half of his supporters admit it. But some of his policy is actually good for most Americans. If the policy isn’t already to deport violent immigrant criminals, why not??? He has done more against our biggest threat, China, than any others. Not sure how this tariff thing will play out, but I have always appreciated how he has stood up to them. His relationship with Putin is pretty concerning, but guess we will see. I also agree with many on the MSM not treating him fairly. He does a good bit to deserve it, but has been that way from the start. I watched ABC last night, it was pretty glaring that many of them were rooting for Harris. I’ve always said, if there is a Deep State conspiracy, show it. Maybe he will get his chance now. There are a lot of things that are a bit fishy about his first term. He was a target from the start. Then Covid happens. I can see why many Americans feel that he wasn’t given a fair chance.

I’d imagine Nikki Haley wins this race by a margin unheard of.

Looks like Trump gets a full deck of cards. Will be interesting where they go with them. Hopefully his denial of Mein Kempf 2025 is real and his insistence of no national abortion ban. You know, all of those items that the MAGAs were claiming to be fake news. Hopefully all of the fake news claims on some of the more concerning items are proven to be fake news. Having RFK in charge of HHS is up there with concerning. Maybe he’ll pardon PDitty and have him be RFK’s assistant?

According to that PA vote tracker, my status is still “RECORD -BALLOT RETURNED”. Same it has been since I returned it to the satellite elections drop box.

I think that I am going to drop the mail in status. Seems to be more hassle than just going to the polls.

Congratulations, to the richest man in the world,,, Elon Musk.
He spent millions bankrolling Trump's campaign and in return, his net worth goes up $20 billion dollars in one day.
And, it most likely locks in that government incentive, giving buyers $7,500 to buy a Tesla.
Well played, Elon.
