I loved baking the corn and potatoes in the sand on the beach. Pig roasts buried in the ground  . Have you tried the roadside BQ off the Slippery Rock exit & 79? Think they sell bait next to it. Beaver Good but so is Lik a Maid!! Made 10# of sausage this week. Turned out great.

I haven’t tried the slippery rock place. Saw it going to some track meets. I’m talking more the southern church BBQs. Don’t seem to have them as much up here, or at least where I have been. VA and NC have some excellent roadside BBQ. You are driving and smell the goodness for 5-10 minutes until you see it. Usually similar to the corn signs with the split second to pull over. But smelling for another minute or two is almost impossible to not pull over and turn around. It is like they rig the system…. It is like 10% more than getting McDonalds for 500% better eats and not fighting off the “am I going to crap myself” feeling. You may need to pull over in 2 hours to nap though. That F’ing good!!!

Smell what you mean on my trips to Southern Georgia and Alabama. Good thing they don't have car air fresheners mimic that odor. Gets creepy when the big white crosses start popping up and a preacher on the radio. Feels like going into a episode of the twilight zone. Checked out a 275 gallon oil tank spit while getting minnows off my MAGA friend yesterday. Brought back memories from all the pig roasts in the hood over the years. He or I would raise a few hogs or if needed a pig farm 10 minutes away for 50 cent# live weight. You ever eat at Frankie's on Butler St? Can smell that place from a block away and the odor will stay with you for over 8 hours lol. Did keep my streak going for over 25 years tonight fishing on Halloween. Windy and very dark, went past the haunted graveyard on the old gravel road to get there. Got 4 Cats 27"--31" and said heck with that and went to one rod for Crappie. Had 11 nice ones in the bucket when some close by Yotes started yelping and howling. Probably found a wounded deer. I had enough 7:00--9:00. Ended up dumping the Crappie out. Still very low water level. Hasn't started to rain here as of 11:03 smh. Lebron James endorsed Harris today with a message on his platform with over 212 million followers.

Thanks, would always take that week vacation to hunt small game and camp or rent a cabin for 3 days (Halloween) to fish for Steelhead or Salmon. Just made the adjustment to fish Arthur every Halloween when quit fishing the streams. Some of my best days at Arthur have come on 10/31. Had a edit from 30 to 212 million followers on two of Lebron James sites. Hate to spread fake news nowadays. @KingJames "What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!" Then he posted videos on what Trump has said or has done. He is only one person though so no big deal.

Something for everyone lol
Looking around at polls reported by several different media today was confusing-insulting and hysterical all at the same time.
A real something for everyone approach.
Depending on the article and sometimes predictable by venue Harris/Trump are tied, Harris is ahead or Trump is ahead,
At this point I must choose to believe none of the above and just wait till a day or two after the election for a result.
