So in fishing terms and liberal coping there was a fishing tournament. 10 anglers participated.
Angler Trump caught 99 lbs of fish, and won the event
Angler Harris caught 90, finished 2nd but no trophy.
The rest of the field, caught a collective of 11bs of fish.
200 lbs total were weighed in.
There was a guy in the crowd who doesnt like Angler Trump. He cries, you see he only caught 99 out of 200 lbs!!! Therefore he isnt that good of an angler!! You see I told you the other 9 would out fish him!!! Meanwhile Angler Trump drives off with the trophy.
Trump's 99 lbs of fish were all suckers

I recall during the campaign, Trump repeatedly claimed to have no ties to Project 2025. Denouncing it as some sort of liberal media scare tactic. Many of the MAGA parrots on this site, claiming the same. Now that he is in, EO’s seem to be pulled right from it. To say that people knowing voted for this, is a bit of a stretch. If he was transparent campaigning that project 2025 was how he would run things, I’d agree with those making the claim.
He was elected to stop inflation. Plain and simple. That was the swing vote. If legislation doesn’t reflect, expect the blue wave in 2026 and 2028. As simple as that. Not saying Trump doesn’t have some good ideas or flip side a complete POS with some horrible ideas. He is all of that.
Just as it was as simple as that for the corpse. He and Harris did NOTHING to explain how they weren’t responsible for inflation. When you try to brush it under the rug, many are going to believe you own it. Don’t get me wrong, many other issues with the corpse and Harris. Hopefully the DNC fixes many of those other things too, so you aren’t just relying on swing voters to decide which candidate is worse. Which often times comes down to issues that neither side is responsible for or better to manage.

I disagree with porktown on his statement that the plain and simple reason President Trump got elected was because of inflation. Granted, that was a big part of it but there were other things that entered into it. A lot of this wokeness that has happened is another reason.

I’m talking the swing vote. To you and others that lean right, no doubt, woke was probably as much. For some swing voters maybe. The overwhelming majority of the swing vote polled that the economy/inflation was their deciding factor.

lol ok Elon, let’s make air traffic controllers work 80 hrs a week. Everybody knows they are just a bunch unelected bureaucrats with cushy jobs and no real responsibilities. Why don’t we just have Harry Bōlz train the pilots while we are at it? He runs SpaceX so he must know how to fly every type aircraft that ever existed. I’m sure he could fly stuff better than all those other pilots that don’t have as much money as he does.

Stimulus checks while inflation ticked up in the past few months does seem to go along with the logic though.
