So my high water excursion took me first to south sandy. Spent more time than should have without success. Next stop was north sandy. Definitely the best water I fished on Thursday. It blew out Friday.
Back for lunch break then back to NS until 6pm.
Friday awoke and went to the north filled with raging chocolate milk. No go..
Back to port Ontario and a stop at woody's for Cleo spoons. A guy was getting fat heads for crappie at Mexico point. Shoulda done the same. Anyway, selkirk shores and grindstone. 2 guys were fishing the peir. They were persistent but didn't see any fish. Grindstone was ripping very nice and the lake was flat. Trollers were just out of my cast by maybe 40 yards. They hooked fish, I did not.
Off to Orwell. It was high but clear. Not my favorite type fishing with a long pole.
Scoped out paradise pool in ufz. A spot at the head and past the tail out were fishable.
No strikes, hits or runs.
Finished trip at ufz church pool.
1 on , 1 off.
Only seen 2 fishermen one day in my spots the entire trip .
Same time next year...
