Lake Trout from shore in the Fall?

Anyone ever hook into a Lake Trout casting for Steelhead in the fall?

    I have heard of some guys catching Lakers on the rocks of the NE Marina. Also have heard of a rare Laker caught casting from the rocks at East Ave boat launch

    If i catch a stilhed in da lake and a stilhed is still a pellethed therefore all erie stilhed are "lake trout"
