That may be true, but it's the fishheads ( fisherman) that put the silly in the season not the fish. LOL

Guess I'll just wait another year.
Not that any reports besides weather have influenced my decisions.
    Word of note.
That nasty thing called 19 is spiking and Oswego county is being effected.
At work, we are at our worst positives since the beginning. Thankfully, the affected are not as severe.
    Be safe

Jack, unfortunately once again I won't be fishing the salmon river. We are fishing the ausable river for 3 days the first week of October. Hunting camp the second week then we go on tour for 5 shows with Lukas Nelson the 3rd and 4th week of October.

I hope you do well up there.

Good luck with your endeavors Rich-
Hey photos from tackle shops and guides  of people with fish BUT those fishing reporting VERY slow action if any at all for most of them.

Some saying the zones have lots  of Kings.

Back when I started up there it was bottom of the river in the AM and then to the zones  in mid to late Sept. --was too iffy in between for a once a year couple of day trip.

Locked down a couple of rooms mid week in early Oct for a few days with my youngest son and a grandson.
Now if the weather and fish will cooperate.

Just not the same as cruising in and out of my own place  whenever I felt like it.
Puckerbrush calls but dont know if i could make the hike in and out-been a long time and great memories.
