Actually there will be four programs, two at Presque Isle, and two at Moraine State Park. The details follow:
The PFBC has scheduled a total of 4 Women’s Intro to Fly Fishing Programs in the NW Region on June 12
th and June 13
th. The registration information is below for those events. They have a maximum capacity of 15 women per program for a total of 60 women over the 4 programs. Once the participants complete the program, they will be eligible to participate in the Women’s Intro to Steelhead program tentatively scheduled for early November 2021.

Kick off your summer by attending a TWO PART PFBC Women’s Intro to Fly Fishing Program! Join PFBC staff at one of our FREE, Women’s Intro to Fly Fishing Programs, designed to introduce women to the basics of fly fishing!
Part 1 – VIRTUAL
During the virtual part of the program, participants are introduced to fly fishing basics - Fly fishing equipment, how to put it together, knots, casting, artificial flies, reading the water, hooking & landing fish, releasing fish
LOCATION – Your Computer in the comfort of your own home.
Part 2 – IN-PERSON - PA Fishing License required
The in-person part of the program provides participants the opportunity to apply their skills on the water, fishing, alongside PFBC staff, and Fishing Skills Instructors. Instructors will review everything covered online AND then work with participants while they try fly fishing on one of PA’s waterways!
Participants are welcome to bring their own gear; however, if you don’t have gear, PFBC provides fly rods, reels, flies, and instruction.
