hoffer's butcher shop

We just got notice that Hoffer's will not be cutting up deer this year. They did say that they would make products from deboned deer by appointment. I don't know if it has anything to do with cwd or not,but it is a shame because they do a great job & make it convenient to drop a deer off after hours. Also they cut up deer for the hunters helping the hungry program. That is the 3rd packing house that quit cutting deer in this area in the past few years.  sam

    Wish I could help you there. We cut up our own, and pass that down to the generations of hunters in our family. Used to take it to the butcher years ago, but after doing our own now, you cant get it any better than doing it yourself.
    Big Shout Out to Mr. Slickfish for showing me how to debone a deer.
