Changes to Trout Season

I am not that much of a trout fisherman but here is the latest.
The PFC has changed the opening day of trout season to April 18 statewide because of Covid-19.  Also they took down the stocking schedules and no one is permitted to help with the stockings.   The fish commission personnel will stock all the trout.   They are taking personnel from other departments to help with the stocking.

The only thing better than 1 day of fishing is 2 days of fishing.

Thanks for the info. I'm beginning to wonder if we aren't getting a little too carried away with all this isolation business. Can you imagine what it's going to look like on so many streams and lakes that are hot spots on opening day? Trying to keep the recommended 6 foot distance between you and others? ha, good luck with all that!

How did the person who invented the first clock know what time it was?

April 18 effects the east side only. West side of PA was already the 18. Wonder if people were still showing up cause i saw the schedule still on the site a couple days ago.

PAFBC has updated their website.   Doubt that I will be out there April 18.
