Salmon River Fishing Report 11/25/2019
The flow out of Pineville is currently at 494 CFS and the Dam is at 350 CFS. Most anglers are reporting success towards the middle of the DSR, however, no one area stood out above the rest. Conditions over the past week have been cloudy with temperatures in the mid 40's. The weekend brought some colder temperatures and thus some better fishing. Both the upper and lower ends of the river are getting the most pressure. You have to be willing to cover as much water as you can to bring fish to hand. Woolly buggers, smaller nymphs and egg patters have been producing for fly fishermen. Those who are gear fishing are reporting success on pink and chartreuse egg sags, trout beads or pink worms.
