Berkley 6" Lightning Shock Rods.

Hey everyone.......I am new to this site, but have been an avid fisherman since I was 5. I use the Berkley lightning shock rods almost exclusively in smaller waters and have an affinity for the 6 foot model due to the control I get with them. The reels however are another thing. I use the Abu Pro 5 spinner with my first rod and love it. Recently I purchased the Shimano Catana 10 and found the reel along with the rod is lethal....the control, along with the sensitivity is a thing of beauty. I've tried the Pfluger Trions, and the Okuma Safinas on these rods, but in my opinion......in the world of the budgeted angler, Berkley, Abu, and Shimano are all one could ever need. Any other opinions out there are welcome.
