jacob's creek watershed family fishing derby

The annual fishing derby will be held this Sat. 7-13-19 from 5-8:30 pm This is a family derby with over $500 worth of prizes so far. It is divided into 2 groups= kids & seniors over 18. There is a $10 fee for seniors & no charge for juniors. All money raised by this group goes into the watershed fund to improve the whole watershed. Come out if you can. I can not say enough about this great group of volunteers that put so much time & energy into these projects to get kids interested in the outdoors.There will be canoes & yaks available to rent also.    sam

    Looks like they had a nice turnout,most boats that I have seen for a while. I had to leave early,does anyone know what the results were?  sam
