Good luck fishing Big T , let me know how the bite was . I've bought 3 different state fishing licenses for over 20 years , seems like a drop in the bucket as compared to many other spending issues. Getting a lifetime license now is a good deal to me ....and I'm ready to use it if this weather cooperates for a stretch.

Brock,I bought MY and Ohio non resident fishing license for years not to mention NY,WV,and Ohio hunting licence for years..... I'll report on the perch bite. I bought a 16' Crestliner,so it's will be playing around with the new boat and lorance elite that came with it. The guy I bought it from said it cost $1100. I saw it for $900 in Cabelas.

The seller is probably correct, when the original Lowrance Elite Ti came out, it was over 1k, but since then Lowrance and Humminbird and Garmin all got into a price war. Lowrance came out with the Hook2 and Elite Ti2

The Elite Ti2 on Cabela's ranges from $2069 to $820 depending on screen size.

Ahhhhh, the world of electronic technology...... new today, obsolete tomorrow.

Yinz gotta love it.

It's early up at PI,but you know gotta be impatient.... Tried our go to spots from 8-1:30.... Water temps 37.5-39.5....not a single hit... made another move back to spot number one. Water temps 39.5 it warmed up 2 degrees since morning. Perch and steelhead where there. We picked through them...28 came home... Definitely not great or even good to me... Fish where not that great 9" 13", quite a few 8"-8.5" that we didn't consider keeping. First trip, getting familiar with the boat went well, ready for better action next week. No emerald shiners, they only had small golden shiners and fatheads. We went with the golden's I guess they worked ok. I jigged up quite a few on a pink spilt tail tipped with 2-3 grubs.Steel liked that....fresh fish fry tomorrow, Friday lent special, fish,
fries and cole slaw. I bought 4 dozen minnows, fished all day,son and I and probably have 12-15 doze in the bucket. Lost about a dozen, but gave them fresh creek water and got the aerator on them. They should be ready for next week...lol Hear good perch reports from Pymy.. might slip up there before my next PI trip.
