kooser & donegal

I talked to a ranger at Kooser to-day & was told that they are done with the work for this year. I wonder if they left any of those monster Northerns that I keep hearing about ? I may take a ride over to Donegal to see if anything has changed also. Anyone have an up-date on it?  sam

    They have started on Donegal. The concrete over flow is all removed and some ground of the dam near it.

    unless they dredge the lake area at Donegal, just repairing the dam is a waste of time, effort and money .  that lake is silted in and will not get better.  according to jeff at scott's bait store, there is no money for dredging.  
     
    this is also the case for Kooser - it's just a mud hole now.
