keyston lake - weeds
i've always heard good things about keystone lake regarding lg mouth size and numbers. i had the chance to try it sunday for the first time. we all caught some fish but it was a tough day overall. nothing too exciting in terms of size or numbers.
the thing that surprised me was the lack of weed/pads. the 2 guys i was with said the upper end of the lake is usually very weedy and filled with pads. it was almost as if the area where we fished was treated for weeds. i've heard of this happening on other lakes but i've never experienced it.
can anyone on here chime in on the weed status at keystone this year?
