nite fishing permit

For those that are planning to get a nite permit for the Westm'd  Cntyy Parks this year. They are still $ 3 & good for 1 yr,. good for all the Cnty lakes. They are available on line & at the park office on Donohoe Rd only.They are not avail. at the boathouse. If you get it at the park office bring your old permit & they will copy it,saving you the trouble of filling one out.  sam

    A permit to fish at night? I thought a license was good for fishing 24 hours a day.

    Park is closed at dark to those w/o the permit. Easier for park police to kick out the riff Raff I suppose.

    Thats what Cross Creek needs, a night permit....but that will take another 10 years or so to get with the times...after we get over the panfish enhancement crap...i'm still greatful ice fishing was finally allowed..but geez how long did that take? Fish Commish and county rules clashing doesnt make sense..turn the lake over to commish rules including property use...and yeah, dumb enhancement rules too...at least one entity in charge...there is no way in hell any launch permit fees are making a dent in costs for the county anyway...what's it cost to send a deputy to that lake daily, even holidays..sorry for the slightly off topic rant
