No interest in ice fishing. If I wanted to be cold, dunk bait in a small hole, and have the opportunity to possibly catch a crappie, I would just leave the bathroom window open.

Not worth selling...learning a new hobby trap skin flesh tan...no time for steelhead fishing they are happy...enjoying it.
Got a untouched area that needs to be trapped basically i think there could be an 80-100 lber out there due to ice I have not ventured into best spots yet but will SOON!

I know this is fishing post but I just had to share...WCW

Good luck going after the biggun and no this thread is not about just fishing.

Keep the story and pics coming, it helps those with cabin fever.

I have a Amish neighbor that gave up trapping due to the low pelt price but man, he never showed me anything like you are catching. 👍

Geez if there was beaver the size of those in my back yard, there wouldn't be a pond, it would be a lake back there.

Made the journey north to fish today. Was nice to get out on the water again (I don't play on ice lol)! Had a very very good day. First spot got crowded... walked up stream and almost every other drift, fish on! Some older fish, and a couple fresh ones. Lots of them were banged up pretty well from the ice.

Caught 12 yesterday.. none of mine were fresh. I agree with the getting out part. 20 degrees felt like a summer day with open water
