First time on the creeks

First time for my 10 year old daughter and 8 year old son on Erie streams. They didn’t hook any themselves (gotta work on watching the bobber and gettin that drag free drift!) but they both got to fight and land a few. Grateful to God for the chance to be together.

Resize to 640 pixels. If you can't resize with your edit program, try "cropping" down the picture as small as you can. Don't forget to save your edited picture and be sure to upload that very file. Also, you can only upload so many files per page.

This how I feel on my way home to meadville after a long day of fishing

The pics from last week with my son aren’t coming up I’ll try later from my laptop. Conditions that day were perfect. Today was low clear cold and wet, and my daughter sprung a leak in her waders...twenty minutes after we found a good pod of fish! We easily coulda got 7-10 more. First time in my life I’ve walked away from a group of willing steelies. But she was cold and wet and I’d like her to come again so temporary sacrifice for long term gain!
