Presque Isle Skunk(ed)

Beautiful day, nice drive, great bike ride, but no fish. I' m always excited about a trip to Erie, enjoy the drive up with fishing rods rattling in the back of the vehicle, building that anticipation, but this trip no luck. Fished from shore at various locations, but could not tempt a bite. Too hot, too bright; there were many excuses, but no fish. There were a lot of fisher people, but I didn't see anyone else catching. I even tried my new secret weapon, Gulp minnows, with no response. Either they didn't like anything I threw at them, or they were all out in the deep water keeping cool.
Still was a great day and can't wait to get back up there.
