Lake Arthur access on crutches?

Lake Arthur access on crutches? I'm laid up until end of September and going crazy! Look at the boat everyday but it's still too hard to get in and out of it. Just bought some minnows and shiners and need some ideas on easy access fishing spots. You'd think a guy that lives 5 minutes from one launch and eight minutes from two other launches would know a little more about access by foot and easy access. I must say I'm boat spoiled! Any help would with this info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks fella's, Big Fathead

There's a handicap accessible fishing pier at McDaniel's launch.  That's on the 422 side of the lake.  Not sure if you can get out onto the causeway_type_pier at Bear Run on crutches but I think you can park pretty close to it also.  There's a nice bank under the 528 bridge right up against the back edge of the parking lot there.  Always see people fishing from it.

Pretty sure the pier at Bear Run is still torn up, if not shut down to foot traffic. There's also a pier at the Old 422 launch, right near the 528/422 intersection.

BF, there are quite a few places in the 528/Muddy Creek arm where you can pull up almost right next to the water but they are popular spots and fill up quick.

None of those are really stellar spots but if you're looking to wet a line and get a tug my boys can always catch plenty of gills there, with the occasional bass, crappie and perch.
