Ice fishing

Is there any ice on the lake today?  Was hoping to get out in my tent.

Yeppers  .... we have to pay for the 70* temps. we had in February. I had 6 'mater  plants covered with plastic pots and they still froze.   Frost didn't hurt the Sugar snap peas. Love them pickled.

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Yep... 28* here in NW PA.  If the freeze didn't get you yesterday morning it got you this morning. 5/9   I've seen frost as late as 6/10 so be careful of them 'mater plants ect. Spinach and peas will take a frost but not a hard freeze 25* or below.

I tried ice fishing in the slush of my margarita yesterday, but all I caught was a slice of lime.
