Quemahoning Boat Launch

The CSA just built a new boat launch on Birdman Road on the Quemahoning Dam.  It looks like it is completed.  Does any one know if it is ready to use and do you need a permit to launch from it?

only regular state registration to launch.

remember NO GAS of any kind permitted on your boat.  not like other electric only lakes where you just unhook your gas line.  no motor, no gas tank, nothing allowed.

Looks like you'll need a pass.

Thanks for the link.  I checked their website earlier and the pass requirement was not on there.   I guess they will have someone patrolling the launch area like they do at Raystown Lake.  I wouldn't mind paying the $55 annual senior pass if I could catch some panfish on the Que.   Can never seem to find them.
