Wills Creek

How about those snakes...

Access?  Can you still come in from the south side down that old township road?  Do they still stock that stretch above Falls Cut from that side?  What about below the railroad tunnel, where brush creek comes in, where you have to hike down over that steep hill?

It seems like every year there is something new happening as far as the railroad goes.  I am pretty sure last year (year before maybe) the rail road shut down the access from the Glencoe end.  I also remember this being a topic/issue like 5 years ago, and I have fished that section since then.

Is HenHouse still around, or does anyone keep in touch with him?  He or his brother owned a camp or lived on Wills Creek if I remember right.

Hey Tippy; I'm still alive and still fishing. Still own a place along Wills. And yes; my bro lives there in the log home near Foley. The stocking was all Browns and a few Goldens on Tues. Access is getting to be a major pain. Each time we stock , the R/R makes it harder. You will like the latest BS. Yes; you can open an access gate to stock. But we won't allow any trespassing on the R/R property. If seen crossing the tracks to fish, you will be arrested. So; it was stocked and if you want to fish, you have to walk and not cross the tracks. That is impossible in the area of Foley and most of the way to Falls Cut.  I still go to N Y to enjoy fishing for Trout and Salmon. They aren't stocked fish and a heck of a lot bigger. I'm pretty much done with Pa. Deep Creek Md. for eating fish. And N Y for the trout over 10 #'s.

Good to hear from you henhouse, glad to see you are still around.

I always liked going up there later in the season for a day, and I was thinking about taking the kids up sometime in late May to fish that area.  I am glad to hear they still stock it down through that stretch.  Hopefully we don't run into the railroad police.  We will probably come in from the south side down that bumpy township road.
