Picking has been good.

Warm temps and rainy weather the last two nights, brought out the night crawlers. Odd for February. So I've "picked up" over 300 of them the last two mornings. ("picked up" meaning they were all stretched out laying on the ground) At $2.50 a doz. that's $62.50 for 3 hrs. of "squats and deep knee bends." Oh yea, you gotta count all the fun I'll have teaching them crawlers how to swim. Well worth my time.

 

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

    I took the mail out late at night the other night and saw all them crawlers. Lots on their honeymoon and many out of hole. I have my back mending after straining it so wasn't even tempted. Oh for a young backbone. I would have cleaned up in my youth.

    Seen two Robins in the yard Friday must be enjoying all the early worms......Spring is close!

    Wonder how those robins are enjoying there diet of  'freeze dried'  worms?
