yellow creek lake

Anyone know for sure if there is safe ice on Yellow creek lake. I just read a PF&BC report that says that they are catching Pike through the ice there. This report was dated yesterday,also said that they are catching fish through the ice at Keystone Power dam,???   sam

    Hello Sam . been a long time. It is Mark , I use to fish crooked creek with you years ago. I Would be surprised if any lakes in the area has any ice one them. I was at Lorain last Saturday I could not believe how much ice melted while I was there . hoping to get the boat out this weekend. Hit me up in the spring and you can join me to pymi for some slab fishing if you would like.

    Mark, It is good to hear from you,we did have some good times there didn't we? I will keep your invite in mind. Do you live around there now? I would be surprised if there is ice also,that is why I take most of those reports with a grain of salt. It surprised me cause I was going to go there for Pike from shore. I usually get a few.  Good luck   sam

    No sam. I still love in Worthington , but can't wait to get my boat out . always looking for a passenger on the weekends. Could use some guidance on crappie fishing.

    I'm sure there is no ice there, definitely no safe ice. Are you on iceshanty.com Sam?

    I was really excited to get on the ice this year, looks like it won't be happening. We should do a fishusa roadtrip to somewhere that has ice.
