MAKE ERIE GREAT AGAIN

Hit erie xmas week it was epic hammrin on green eggsacs, and jigs (got better hits when i took a bite out of a ho-ho cake). Dont see whats the problem, theyre still dumfesh with a few browns in the mix. Pro tip bring lots of little debbies... Kept 2 browns an 1 stilhed out of a secret hole. Would have been 3 browns but some skinny kid slinging a fleamarket switchblade cut my line off chanting "no brownsos for fatsos, ahlalala make erie great again, MEGA " then ripped his shirt off exposing a chest tat of a steelhead with the word jesus inside, threw a cleo from elk to trout run and took off. Strange and that comes from me u no.

Tons of fish in the walnut boat basin some old duud in white lawn chair reeling one in for 40 minutes, must been world record. Pro tip fish out of a green lawn chair so the fish cant see the bright orange jacket.


Overall ok trip not great just ok.

Man the nut almost hit 10 foot... my guess is at the very earliest Saturday afternoon pending any other weather up there..use the gauge and webcam to make your own decision so your not ****ed about other ppl telling u yes or no.
You could always fish the trophy waters (da basin) but the dress code is strict and the competition is heated. Its the real Wild West. I saw a guy with a mullet n no pants on fighting off black bear tryin to get to his 15 1/4" lunker.
But if u do come Bring ropes and stock the freezer. Stillhed jesus is at the homestead filming low budget pornoz and doesn't roam the area looking for Snaggerz and ropers until late march.

Stayed home got 6 inches of ice hitting stocked trout pond tomorrow normally catch about a dozen a an hour 12 ta 17 inches next weekend is marked Erie on my calender now in the 40s with rain in the middle of the week I got high hopes fer this trip
