speaking of winter steelheading

going thru my foto-bucket deleting old, now useless pics, I got some  reminders of trips past

pretty sure these two pics were a Christmas day trip
on the way up rt 11

this was winter day on Connie

You have on gloves while you're handling a steelhead?!?!?!

Nice pics, but yoUr arMz are skiNnEE dUud.

I made a couple of runs during lake effect snow warnings in my younger, dumber days.  The last one was about 11 years ago, when on the way home down 79 I witnessed 6 cars at different points between Edinboro and Grove City actually go off the road.  Creepin down 79 at 40 mph while trucks fly by and cars are flying everywhere made me pick and choose my days a little more judiciously.

I do like feeshin' up there when there's snow on the ground though.  Winter steelheadin' is fun, and planning to do some next week with my older boy.

How did the person who invented the first clock know what time it was?

Worst ever was back in the 90's. 44 inches of snow. Took 6 hrs to drive from Indiana, Pa. Fished for 2-1/2 days. Squalls were so bad we couldn't see each other across the creek at RR Trestle on elk.
