MM, Hammered them yesterday & this evening. Fair size bows Did some experimenting with floating Raps, don't know why I did very well on them. Can't see why guys complain about the hooks on them, worked well for me. Missed a ton on spoons as they were hitting them with their nose. Yesterday the Carp were very active, not so much to-day.  sam

Fished the upper lake with the kids for a short time on Friday.  Just nice to get out.  Was at the dek hockey rink with them for 1.5 hrs before the fishing excursion so everyone was a little whooped.  Son managed a nice 11" largemouth, I got one about 9" and my daughter caught a bluegill.  Few more nibbles but nothing of note.  Didn't try real hard and didn't move around much.  Thought maggot tipped flies would be the ticket for at least gill action but they were disinterested.  Bellies must have been full of powerbait.

Were you in the deeper water?  We were kind of shallow, not far from parking.

Gills, sometimes you just have to move til you find them. Actually spoons have been producing more for us than jigs have & both have been doing better than p.b. although I have been getting Trout & Bullgills by dragging a foam black Ant be hind a bobber. A friend has been doing very well on dry flies all month. nice Crappie are being had also. That is why I  haven't been going to Twin lately, also because the Trout were bigger at KSP. I am off to Greenlick now.  sam
