Wallaye fishing

This year I'm going up for Wallaye in June. I'm going to fish from shore at the mouths of the creeks. How is the fishing? Are there a lot of fishermen? Thanks everyone

June can be a sketchy time for Walleye. If you want to shore fish them at night along the shoreline then I'd recommend this month, which is when I had the most success last year. Lots of others who can give you more details but I've had the most luck fishing from 9:00-11:00 PM casting Stickbaits and 3/4 ounce Little Cleos. Or, at least if you do come up in June, only target them from shore for the first week or so. If you want to get in to them offshore then July and August are the time to fish the lake. Although, personally I prefer to chase Steelhead in the warmer months myself, but I'm a minority among summer boat fishermen.

I got a few in June last year from shore, but it was an odd year.
    I agree with divemasters comments.
And yes it can be crowded in spots at times.
Its an interesting game need to be patient unless its a good night HOURS of casting for 0-2 fish has been how its gone for me.
Been out 8 nights so far this year 3 fish...just got back from trying NADA!
But they are tasty and  I enjoy the surprise when one does hit...
Give it a try and GOOD LUCK- WCW
