    Freeport.

Sausage supreme hoagie, or battered yellow perch sandwich, with a side of fries. Now that's good eating.

This place is a must stop on the West side if looking to stuff your face, quick and easy.  A ton of good food for decent price.  I like the Park Tavern on the East side for sit down bar food.  One of my college buddies grew up about 100 yards from it, so a few good nights there may have swayed my judgement.  Their wings are really good, great sauces too.  Their perch with a side or two of great wing sauce is my favorite.  We only get perch & chips down this way if we make it ourselves.  I'm starving now...

Granola bar, Gatorade, and a pack of dam"n" good beef jerky from country fair is my norm.

Every time I'm fishing the west side I say I'm going to try the Avonia Tavern.  Always end up driving past and getting a sub at Theresa's.   "Buy one sammich, and it'll feed ya lunch AND dinner".    rsquared nailed it.  No exaggeration.
