Recommended Dye For Bucktails

Lots of information online regarding the various ways to dye bucktails.  (Kool-Aid, RITT, Dylon, etc.)

Curious as to which you have had most success with.  Looking for best results to dye black and deep red.  (I know both one of the harder colors to dye)

Any recommendations on process?

Thanks

I've always use Rits. Wash bucktails in Dawn to get clean of body oils, dirt, ticks- (yuk).
Different concentrations of dyes yeilds how light or dark the color is.

Watching the videos dying hair/feathers, etc. using Kool-Aid certainly makes me wonder, what the hell is people drinking?

ummm. Food coloring. Anyway, Black is the hardest from what I've read in the past. Id use ritt veniard or jaquard for black. Just from past research, not experience.
