Trout Run Question

Hey Guys:
When you fish the lake by Trout Run, are you allowed to fish the lake in front of the pig pen. Sort of thought you weren't allowed since I saw the no trespassing signs on the wall separating the pigpen and Trout Run. Can someone clarify this for me?

     I think thats for the marina. but in front is ok. My opinion, not fact.

    godfrey run sign says 50 feet from mouth NO ONE I SEEN obeys that .

    Fish comish let people fish there earlier this year. Think the sign might be for the creek.

    50 feet from the mouth of those creeks from 10 pm to 5 am is prohibited. I think other times no restriction. Creeks are no fishing anytime. Check your regs book. This may have changed.  I dont fish there if i can fish the creeks.

    Yes, but I believe for you to be considered legally fishing, you have to tie a piece of fishing line to it and a hook on the other end.

    I thought they used a bead rig with a stonefly chaser. 3/0 stainless will hold them still for the perfect bat strike.

    If your in the water or below water line anywhere on the lake you are legal to fish it as its deemed navigable waterway used for public commerce. Posted signs mean nothing, now if you climb over that wall or step foot on their property to get to the lake shore in front of the old pig pen, than your illegal. If a sign says 50ft from shore, stay 50ft from shore, its common sense.
     
    Bings, is that your snagging rig for those pewny trout you snag on oil creek?

    Honestly, I think you are supposed to be 50 yards away from the mouth of nursery waters.
     
    But dont worry,
     
    PFBC would let you stand in trout run if you wanted to. Anything to make a dollar.

    Very little darn fish at either of the Nursery Waters! Awful return even after high water events! Until I see or hear that fish are running in numbers,I'm not driving to camp! I will fish the Yough At Confluence to fill my fly fishing urges until Walleye season.Worst Steelhead Run Ever!!!

    Could not agree more. I visit trout run every week and the same dark moldy fish have been in there for the past 2 months.
     
    New york had terrible runs as well this year. Its probably the warm weather.
     
    On the other hand they put less and less smolt in every year.

    Now with the cold and frigid water temps along with all the high trib flows in the recent weeks,I wonder if these fish have made a run of any sort.Sure would be nice.Im at the point this year that if I don't have solid proof that fish are in the Tribs, I'm not driving to camp.Dont get me wrong,I love going to camp but I'm kinda frustrated with such a **** poor return.But it is what it is and we'll be putting the Starcraft in the water soon enough for them EYES

    Did any steel enter Trout Run with all of the high water? Just curious.If they don't run now,I don't know what to think!
