BEAR..

Seeing quite a few on facebook, Anyone here tag one??
I get to hunt Monday and Tuesday............
After +30 years at it. Maybe this year I will at least get to see one.........

    I'd like to Wags but, I can't find a legal buck to shoot let alone a bruin.

    My buddies friend shot a 155 lb bear in Camron Co. Sat. Not much info on the PGC site or tv.

    I've been lucky enough to see more bears then I can count on both hands but never one in season. I use to swear they left Elk county till the season was over!

    My best friend got one, 250 lbs. Came running right at him! Hit him 3 times with a Henry 45/70 before he stayed down. This at 25 yds. Scared the hell out of him. Really don't know what that bear had in mind!!!

     My friends Brain,they hunted Emporium. Don't know the guy that got the 155 lb bear. Brain said he hear some shooting but no bear,he hunted on the edge of some clear cut.

    I was there I heard shot fairly close he brought bear to our camp

    Spent the morning up on the top of SGL #42........WOW 15 degrees.
    SAW NADA on the morning sit and stroll. unless crows count.
    Lunch stroll......NADA
    Afternoon, we walked up on one UGLY looking 4 point feeding at 3:30.
     
    THAT IS ALL................
    Wardens checked us on the way out......"Why you guys here??? Ain't no bear up here !"
    Well thanks.........
    Heading for New Florence for the morning.

    Well we got in at first light. We picked out a patch of laurel around a creek and swamp. Behind Bi-Lo in New Florence.
    What a beautiful morning............we saw 4 geese and.......and......and.......and........TREES.
    Moved to reservoir area above gun range. We saw............TREES......
    Riding out did catch 5 deer eating in a horse field....Never picked their heads up.....
    I NEED to find new bear area.....#42 lets us down AGAIN......
    Only saw 6 hunters all day also, and 2 of them were grouse hunting with dogs.....
