Welcome! I hope you enjoy the boards and all they have to offer...the search function is great and can help you find hours of reading on almost any fishing related issues, and many that aren't.

Well in the fall and winter I fly fish for steelhead probably my favorite time of year!! But in the spring I'm out on the boat for bass and then it's walleye and bass on the lake after that all summer! You can't take any times of the year off right?

That's right man, whoever says you can't fish year round is insane! Shame we don't we Steelies (or wild brooks) down here around the 'burgh, have to rely on small ice-crappies and holdover stockies in the winter.

Welcome aboard Tomcat, I'm your local "Jack of All Trades, Master of None" and I 'may not' be as my handle implies but, I can sure "shoot the breeze" with the best em! I think it fair to advise you of a couple of "bloogers" posting some unbelievable comments on these boards. These guys are just plain mean, I tell ya, and ya just gotta ignore them and hope they go away.

Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you will feed him for a life time. ~Anne Isabella Thackeray Ritchie (1837–1919)~ Old fisherman never die; we just smell that way.
