Buffalo Creek - near Cabot, PA

Will be visiting Cabot, PA this Saturday and would like to give Buffalo Creek a try (trout, bass, whatever is in there).
Anybody out there willing to let me know a good access point(s)? - I would be fishing from shore....

Thanks in advance.

Go to yellow dog and walk down, it is a beautiful area.  West Winfield bridge down holds a lot of fish too and is closer to you.

Easy drive from Cabot (go past cement plant)----at intersection of Wilson rd and Hogg rd, there is a "horseshoe ". (Look on map). Easy access to creek from Hogg rd--- that horseshoe has always been good to me for trout.

If you want to catch more than just trout -I would suggest taking live minnows.  There are decent numbers of bass in the stream, along with walleye, sauger, catfish, and sheepshead in lesser numbers.

Was able to fish the creek for about 3 hours or so on Saturday afternoon - between two of us, we landed 6 trout. Spent @ 2 hrs back in the evening and blanked.

Thanks all for the tips / info.
