Port Clinton Slaughter House! Walleye season has begun

We arrived in Port Clinton last Thursday at 9a.m. Checked into the hotel and headed for the lake. Lake was nice, 2fters or less. We launched and headed West to about 25 fow. After a 8 mile boat ride we started throwing out the inlines. We couldn't keep the lines in the water. DHJ behind the small boards were the ticket for us. We had our four man limit in about five hours. The same program produced for us for the next 3 days. Hardly any waves for the next 3 days and fishing was very easy. Our last day we had our four man limit in 3 hours. It was the best walleye fishing I have ever had. here are some pictures ..

    Looks like an awesome trip!  Congrats on the haul! Our season is a bit off yet, have to finish our meat birds and have a trip planned to Southern Maryland for stripers..... nice to see your season is off to a great start!

    Catch more,much more,of them eyes and maybe the Steel numbers will return.

    Now it should only take you about three years to eat them alll with the one meal a month PCB advisory for Lake Erie walleyes.. LOL
    Just teasing, very nice catches. Glad you had a good trip.. Looks like fun..... :-)
     I miss fishing that area...

    Yeah that my rig all decked out finally...A lot of help from dave and Jeremy on getting the right gear for it..
    And BTDT if you tasted these cookies you would know why he wants cookies..

    Nice haul ed. Few more weeks for us on lake fishing. I wont be greedy, keep the fillets, I'll take some cookies

    Unless them cookies is in the form of fish cakes and deep fried in beer batter................ I dunno......... but, I'll take your word for it.
