May fish next thursday any reports on stream conditions could help

I'm going to go look at it today.  Gauges were way up from the rain yesterday but have dropped considerably throughout the night.  The gauges are still dropping and should be about the 4.3  level shown in the 'GAUGE HELP' post on this forum by the time I get stream side.  That's if the readings are accurate.  The gauges have been real shaky all week.  I'll let you know.

went to Elk off Sterretania and fished this a.m.  should have bagged off today because it was just too cold for this 60 year old body on blood thinners.  lasted about an hour on this one stretch I like to fish.  water was perfect actually.  up nice with a good flow.  color wasn't too bad if not a tad darker than I like.  but like I said, didn't last long.  what was crazy tho this morning, in that hour and a half from parking, walking to my spot, fishing, and back to the truck again, the roads went to absolute crap. I saw 5 cars off the road on 90, and traffic was at a snails pace on 19 from Erie to Waterford ( van off the road at the top of the hill coming out of Waterford).  this road freeze caught everyone by surprise.  I didn't get out all winter and I was determined to try today.  I can pick 'em! 

Where do i find the guage reading again?  Sorry for sounding like a dummy.  I live for spring steelheading.  Man i am glad i did not head up, i totaled one car in that black ice on my way to erie a year in a half ago, i should say someone else totaled  me out. 75 acidents in 45 mins.  There are times i wish i lived closer to erie.
