pymatuning....

read this on iceshanty.com.  if you're thinking of going out, be really careful......
 
"In spite of cold temps, Pymatuning has not reached "safe ice" status yet....3 guys went thru yesterday 1/13/15 off Tuttle Point.  THANKFULLY all are OK.  Surface snow has hindered development of good ice in some spots and that snow cover makes bade ice hard to detect.  Warmer weather, a bit of rain and another blast of cold is due over the next week and will hopefully be the perfect formula for thick and safe ice."

    A fisherman fell through the ice this morning at Keystone Power Dam in Armstrong county. Crews searching the water.     I fished there last evening, the ice was 5" to 7" thick.  Be careful out there!!!

    Tried to hit tuttle yesterday morning.  Walked 30yds out on the path where guys had been going out and the spud bar went thru in 3 hits.  Got outta there pretty quick.  Be safe out there.
