Im neutral on this issue, since its not my area, and it basically sra areas so would defer to others opinions for the most part. One point I would raise is that I don't think gun hunters are going to love the idea though, and I see that as one major issue.
I would personally love the idea of this statewide, as a hunter who is mainly an archer if our total hunter numbers decline in the future. Right now, too many people are pizzed off and too much division thanks to a perception of 'not enough deer to go around'. Gun hunters think archers are killing too many now as it is and they have been trying to push political buttons already as it is.
Not sure if this is something that is just being mentioned but little chance of passing, or if it has legs. I haven't really looked into this. Should be interesting to watch play out.
Should be an interesting next two meetings where the issue will be discussed and decided.
Also being discussed and likely to be addressed during the meetings is the age limit deal. Would be nice if they finally make a reasonable and responsible age limit. No real excuse for 3 year olds to be "legal" lmao.
Allocations will be interesting to see.
No wmus to be added to concurrent seasons according to the latest information out so far. The previous recommendations were rescinded apparently. Nice deal there. That proposal really stunk.
