Yough Outflow

Heading to the Yough tomorrow. Heard that some big Browns are caught during the winter.
Any advice on what to use...I'm not a fly guy...and I'm not asking for any honey holes.
I'll be doing my own leg work from the riffles below the outflow down to about the bike bridge.
Thanks

Large minnows and mealworms. I have gotten into some big browns at the outflow this summer.

That place is really hit or miss depending on flow, temp and water level. Check this site-the "search" feature for best water levels. I've had luck on streamers and live baits. No secret spots here, it's a small stretch of water. Seems like it's all or nothing with the catching there.

LOL, that section gets hammered so hard by so many people, there aren't many big fish around.  It's only 1/4 mile or less of "leg work".  You have to head way farther down stream for the big boys, quite a few miles farther.
