Pinning Water on Elk?

I have pin fished and caught fish before the legion hole. There is an old bridge that was demolished, but the piers for the bridge are still there, we parked at the dead end of where the road use to go across this bridge, there is a trail leading to the stream on both sides of the road and last year (2014) there were a few nice steelhead there in that hole. Also, if you are willing to walk some, there were some fish holding up under the route 20 bridge! I was able to pin fish both places and was able to catch some decent fish. We usually go up there in the end of October and can find some fish and not much pressure. Saturday may be different as it is earlier that you are going! Hope this helps you!
